Former President Bush has never seen fit to disrespect the occupant of the White House. But President Obama’s tyrannical and illegal actions are so dangerous, as Bush sees it, that he broke his silence. He felt like he had to speak up on the lifting of sanctions of Iran.
We read in MSN news that Texas Republican Ted Cruz, currently a presidential hopeful, has targeted the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Candidate Cruz wants to abolish the IRS. He talks about tradeoffs.
Quite a change in politics, in 1975, although white, I was an example of police brutality—federal police brutality. Every day we read in the liberal press about local police brutality against blacks. In 1975, the same as millions of black entry-level workers, I was forced to take an entry-level job. I had no money. I was out of work. Since I had been self-employed, I was not “government entitled” to food stamps or unemployment compensation.
The liberal press saw me as a “tax protester,” a dissident who didn’t want to pay his fair share of the tax burden. Federal judges saw me as a “spurious constitutional objector.” I was none of the things I was accused of being.
Instead of joining militant blacks in raising hell on American streets, I went the legal route—on my own. No lawyer would take my case, even though the facts showed that the IRS was wrong. I petitioned the U.S. Tax Court. It took four years to be heard. The Tax Court ruled in my favor. The IRS was wrong. In the four preceding years, the IRS was privileged with the authority to brutally work its will against me—with the blessings of the makers and keepers of the law. The IRS is “legally” right unless proven wrong in Tax Court.
Black’s Law Dictionary, under lawful: “the word ‘legal’ is used as a synonym for ‘constructive,’ which lawful is not. The same as local police against blacks, “legal fraud is fraud implied or inferred by law, or made out by construction….Again ‘legal’ is used as the antithesis of equitable,” clearly the case as far as blacks are concerned.
The IRS ignored the Tax Court order. I complained in three U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and finally petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court. Even through the IRS committed obstruction of justice, the federal judiciary refused to hear the case. Authority finds that we must obey the law in effect, even if it isn’t written in the Constitution. It is the “inherent duty” of government, according to the father of America’s welfare state, a Democrat, President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Hitler saw it the inherent duty of government to eliminate all Jews. The majority rules in America. The majority chooses the welfare state over the rights of individuals. Black youth pays the highest price of all, and it is all “legal.”
When I was a penniless entry-level worker, with no deductions, 21 percent of my meager wages was deducted as federal withholding tax. Some millionaires, due to their legal deductions, pay no federal income tax. Democrats claim to be for the little guy. I couldn’t pay the rent on my one room apartment. I was locked out, and all because the IRS was free to work its lawless will against me. My address changed to my car license. I was homeless—out of sight, out of mind, in the home of the brave and free, America.
I’m asking blacks and Ted Cruz to forget politics and to go the legal route. By myself, I beat the IRS. The IRS apologized on the front page of The Palm Beach Post on December 1, 1986, after an 11 year battle. Nobody has yet spoken out. Which is worse, the Iranian threat or America’s own government?
At the present in America’s welfare state, one percent of the population owns 50 percent of the wealth. Money goes where money flows, to Washington, D.C. My idea, instead of the current welfare state and income tax is a tax on consumption. Workers should be allowed a standard American living before being taxed. If the rich want to live like kings, let them pay a king’s ransom in tax. As natural law makes us all subjective, there is no other trade-off that will work.
